Lines & Connectors - Manufacturers?

Ok, getting ready to start looking at the lines/connectors for my Firebird.

Opinions/options/experiences?

Earls?
Fragola?
Aeromotive?
Magnafuel?
Other?

Will be all the lines, Brakes, Clutch, Fuel, Water, Oil, etc.

Have you looked at Jiffy-tite? I dont believe that they make lines, but they make all of the connectors.

I always liked the Earl’s but I have used nearly all of them.

For brakes buy premade braided lines with steel -3 ends and just use whatever adapters you need. Makes it MUCH easier to replace a line if need arises. If you need to reflare the GM lines, good luck. Im pretty sure they use hardened steel as they always sucked to even single flare. Which is typically what I do, single flare with tube nuts and sleeves, again always steel.

I use a lot of Earls and Vibrant. I typically buy Aeroquip hose.

For AN lines the cutters, soft jaws, and adjustable alum wrench makes life easier.

And dont forget the LUBE! I bought a bottle of the Aeroquip lube like 8 years ago, I still have 80% of it.

I load about a 100 boxes a day for them at UPS. The less people buy the happier ill be. But honestly top notch stuff.

i use all Russell lines and fittings. dont even need lube to assemble them. and having the proper hose cutters does wonders

and you can usually get a good deal on Russell stuff on ebay if you just type the part number in
