What I wanna know was this biker wearing any gear? And if he wasn’t, would he have lived if he had. It seems to me like 90% of the bikers I see on the road, only wear basic clothing and a helmet/gloves. Even the older men on Harleys.

In an accident like that what is gear going to do for you? You’re Riding 40 MPH plus straight into a 4000 lb wall, some padding on your elbows won’t do much.
