Seems like enough people on here do nothing with their lives, so they should be able to. Not sure why this is the only forum that really gives a fuck about it though. It’s kind of childish. Yes, spelling is fucked up… you got the point and thats really all I care about on a forum. lol I’m not typing a paper for school, its not a resume… it’s not work related… so my proof reading and giving a fuck…definitely not there. Anyone that has to point it out, just shows they have nothing better to do.
Maybe they are just bored at work on Whirley Dr.
Lol, Kevin you have to admit, EggKnight was kinda funny hahaha.
I didnt deny it. lol
its not really your spelling, its your ability to take it to the next level.
IE: intensive purposes
Back on topic, a tiny part of me can see both sides on this. After living through the ice storm that hit upstate NY in 1998 (made the Oct storm look like a picnic) I can understand desperate situations. It’s not like he could have just bought gas cans as I’m sure all the gas cans for a 100 mile radius are gone. Still, if you’re going to chance it doing something stupid like putting gasoline in a bucket get just as much as you personally need and not a drop more.
Reality is, they both got slapped with minor misdemeanors that will likely get dismissed or reduced. I understand “safety first” but desperate times and all that.
Preparing for this storm showed me what I wasn’t prepared for and what I don’t have on hand to make a long term power outage comfortable for myself.
Keeping enough gas on hand for an extended outage isn’t easy though. No matter what it only lasts about a year and that includes if you put Stabil in it. Then there is are the safety issues with storing 30+ gallons of gasoline at home.
People think they have the answer when they get a natural gas standby generator, but natural gas was shut off to the hardest hit areas because of all the damage.

I keep my generator filled, treated with Stabil, and swap the gas yearly. I also have a 6 gallon can on hand anywhere from 1/4 to full, and before a big storm I make sure it’s full and fill up a 2nd 6 gallon can. In past years I was storing my boat at home which was another 25 gallons I could access with a reasonable amount of difficulty but now I store that at my mom’s place in the winter. With the lack of the “emergency gas” in the boat I’ll be picking up two more 6 gallon cans and only fill them if it looks like a really bad storm is heading this way. Once the storm passes I’ll just dump them in the cars so I’m not storing a huge fire hazard.
How in the fuck did the gas station attendant not notice this? Must have taken a LONG time to fill all of that up and load it up.
Guy is lucky as fuck he didn’t die. Even plugging in a cell phone charger could have killed him with the fumes that must have been pouring out.
Probably had them in the van, shoved the nozzle through the window, and watched his buddy puff away on an imported cigar while he waited.
“Thank you sir, that’ll be $ 600.00. Credit or debit?”
What is more dangerous than a bucket full of gas?
A bucket half full of gas. (Just a thought I had. Carry on.)
Edit: That being said, that car must have been full of fumes.
Minus whale have just filled up a rubber bladder, for all intensive purposes. He probably could care less about safety, so just nip it in the butt. Although, I might just be going out on a limp here. Irregardless, I literally died laughing reading this post.

WIN
Sadly most won’t even notice what you did there
RIP Jam
This guy has him beat.
I used to store 20 gals for the winter (I buy it when the winter blend comes out…), then save it all winter… then use it up the following spring in either the car or tractor. I don’t really keep more than a couple gallons on hand in the spring->fall.
But now with my current situation, a propane generator is a much better situation. Since I have a 320gal propane tank for my house, I doubt I’ll go through that much propane in a few days… Plus propane is usually cheaper/cleaner to run then gas…
Is that the “expert” opinion of a propane sales and supply representative?
