My first kill post. Hope it makes you laugh because this is certainly not serious!
Blew off an intercooler hose last night - just hadn’t tightened it up properly. I was out checking out a bunch of changes I’d made to the car. Of course, I was out without any wrenches. Happened right beside a cemetery so a quiet place to try to get it working. Slipped it back together without any clamps and babied it home, trying to avoid any boost. At some lights a guy in a Crossfire asked if I had anything heavy in it. I responded yes, me! Then added that it had an SR20DET. He was impressed and took off on the green. I slowly and gently accelerated off the line, got back to the shop and properly tightened the clamp. Crossfire greater than me with no intercooler clamps!
Next weekend I’ll be at Mosport and then I’ll see what the car can do. Drag race on the street in Ontario means your car is impounded.
Funny story about a guy who owned a chromed out one at delta sonic on the Blvd. He had some sick dreads and was bitching out the kid who was drying it. Then proceeded to rip it in WOT down the Blvd… ok not that funny.

I hate the Crossfires. I think they are a joke. I had a convo with someone I knew who owns one and when he told me the ins and outs of the car I was instantly thinking, man how happy I am to won an s2k over that piece of shit. lol
On a side note, Why is everyone always about drag racing. Does anyone on here build cars to take turns or just go straight? Merica! FUCK YA!
I appreciate that you’re intrigued by the car. I did post the build info here a little over a year ago. It’s a pretty cool car and it turns far better than it goes straight. I don’t street race and just thought this would be a light moment on the forum. I’m heading to Mosport - newly named CTMP - next weekend to have three days of turning fun!
