Long Island Drifting

Havn’t posted here in a while becouse you guys are all upstaters and i’m only around there once a year for a week lol

But here is a little video I put together starting from me learning to drift up intill now :present:

ohh hot looks like fun

Not the crash at the end of the video but one later that snowey night i slide into a curb… bent the crossmember and broke both lower control arms
I was taking a wide left hand corner and basicly I understeered right into the curb (downshifted too early or hit the brake too hard before I turned in or it could be a mix of the both) becouse of the snow I couldn’t brake the speed and I guess I was too busy s***ing bricks to turn in and drive over the curb to do less damage so I bounced off it doing probley 40ish

The rear is fixed but the front still needs a lot of work.

Nioce. We should meet up sometime - I’m in Yonkers.

Not enough HP to get it sliding on dry pavement?

wh00p 240!

Here’s our video this winter, not too many shots of me but I’m in the red 240

you can definitly slide a stock 240 on dry payment

i’m surprised you can even accelerate.

5k rpm drop in to second with a little front break action works damn fine, though it REALLY stinks to have an open diff, but doesn’t prevent you.

Its a automatic and open diff so its kinda hard to slide it in the dry. but it can be done

it wasnt that bad gaining traction as I thought it wouldve been (thank god long island is flat as hell). I put some fresh 205s in the rear for the winter so I could cook the other ones down to the metal. my tire budget is too limited though because of my pay check and now haivng to replace the front cross member and those arms so if you wanna donate to the tire budget let me know beocuse once it drys up here i’m gonna be needing lol

Woot to s13 owners!!

Moved. Street shenanigans = Kill vids. Make a note of it.

looks pretty good, but definetly take it out on some dry pavement.
