Look what we can do!.....

dude… that’s why you don’t just go and buy some shit shell.

car- $1000
K20 w/ Trans- 3500-3800 (it’s a K20a2 in that car i posted so here’s a K20a2 for sale for 3500) k20a2 swap complete 38k miles, includes shift linkage | Honda / Acura K20a K24a Engine Forum
Turbo kit- $6000
Tuning- $1200
Parts needed to convert??- $500 mounts, all you need. maybe a few $30-$50 parts
Wheels + Tires- $1000
Cage- $1000
Paint- few hundred, MAYBE a grand, not 5k :wtf

Still NO WHERE close to 30k.

Not the deal of a lifetime. SOOOO many people get deals like i do on the K20a.org forums, christ, there’s one for $1800 complete motor and tranny on there F/S with 40k miles. I browse those forums everyday and i see it more and more people getting deals.

Ok listen close, not everyone can paint their own vehicle…hence… paying money to get it painted. Your old man got you a rela good deal and since the labor was done by him/you you saved alot of money. You will not be able to get a GOOD full paintjob for under 3K nowadays. Even that would be a cheap job. People pay to do shit correctly. Trust me ive been in the automotive painting industry for the last 7 years. Im sure there is alot more to doing this car than meets the eye, but who knows, you may be right. Just find it hard to believe that its soo cheap or everyone would have a turbo K20 hatch…That car is professionally built, would love to talk to the owner to confirm some things…

Not cheap by any means…show me where i said it was cheap. :confused And whatever, say fuck the paint then, is that affecting if the car runs or not? or how fast it is? We’re not talking about that specific car now, maybe his paint costed a nice coin…but now we’re talking price of building one.

I said it won’t cost near 30k to build one

not everyone has one because not everyone has 15k to build a honda with

Im talking about THAT car!!! What is so hard to understand about that???

Word, i’ll ask him how much it cost him and get back to you.

You have 24 to buy a stock one…

What site is that car from? I kinda wanna check it out. If its only 10K to build one i might do it just to be an asshole and beat all the honda guys… ;D

yeah thats different, i have 24k to spend on a reliable car that i will probably have for the next 4-5 years, not 15k to build a car,

i think joey said k20a.org

Soo your saying a built honda is unreliable???

Oh thought thats where he was lookin at that motor, thanks

i assume its the same site, since this car has a k20 in it.

K20a.org is the K20 swap forum. A guy running the same set-up…35R, completely stock internals, k20a2 in a hatch turned the boost up to 27psi and went 6.4 @ 115 in the 1/8th :banana

A 35R is efficient on a stock motor?? Wow

That’s what’s on the Orange one i posted above, only difference he’s running wastegate (13psi) on that 10.5 run.

damn

I was indeed kidding, I know that you know your stuff… and now I can decipher the GT series. Thanks
