you have to rev the piss out of honda engines to get anything out of them. Thats fine for some, but I’d rather stick with my stock SOHC over that.

My buddy sold his 2001 si cause he was sick of the having to rev the pee out of it in traffic or he would bog.

In my opinion it’s a very cool swap. The car will be very driftable, the swap is definitelly a challenge and the owner of the car will have lots of fun driving it.

I like honda engines and I like vtec for obvious reasons. I think this swap is definitelly cool. It’s funny that everyone is bashing this swap on this forum, but everyone loved it on FA.

Working at Neetronics I have gained Serious respect for Honda Motors.

They put down some serious power and VTEC… It’s like hitting orgasm at 4500rpm.

I have no problem with it being a Honda motor, i just don’t agree with it from a economic standpoint. A S2K motor must cost more than the usual SR, or RB. But you are losing all that wonderful torque.

I guess it’s just a preference. Some people would rather have a free revving car than a low end grunt. Not me. Not in a 240 at least.

Agreed. Let’s see a SVT Mustang engine in there. 390 ft. lbs. of torque right? What the hell I can admit they sound sexy as hell too.

Maybe ford will acutally warrent some respect … I was at the detroit auto show and saw that GT as well … :hitit:
