looking for a motor

Honda motor swap wireing is so overrated. There is only four additional wires that you need to worrie about. VTEC activation, VTEC oil pressure, secondary O2 sensor, and knock sensor. Run the four added wires to the harness that is routed under the battery tray to the ECU in the passenger side panel. you have a 92–up wiring harnesses that already has leads for the wires to fit into the plug itself. If you use a complete wiring harness from a GS-R, you can plug everything in from the dash to the engine compartment. Just make sure that you have the right ECU for your car. B16s use a pr3 or a pwo. LS b18 is pr4 gsr is p72 and type r is pct. If you dont have the corrrect ecu for your motor your shits not going to run. And as for the 0b2 emissons thing. As long as dont have a CEL on and have all of your emissions systems that appears to be the correct part for the car and appers to be in good working order you will pass. The computer wont be able to connect with your car (which is a common problem with this new OBbII program) you will pass under the NON communication status. So dont worrie about that part.

[QUOTE=rusty240det]have you ever wired up an OBD2 civic then?
