I need some new shoes for the WS.6…and I figured there are a ton of people on here running the same size as me. So what is the best bang for the buck tire that holds up decent and has some grip. Here is what I was considering, BFG TA/KDW
i got four good year f1’s gs-d3 for $500 ther only have 100 miles on them!
If you want to spend some money look into the azenis 615’s. The don’t have the greatest of treadwear ratings, but at the rate you drive your car, it will be an antique before you need to replace them :kekegay:
nothing wrong with KDW’s. I have that size kumho 712s on my 87 vette and they are fine… they’ve been autox’d to long trips. I’m just cheap.
That is about the deal of the century right there. That’s an awesome tire, at an even better price… those would usually go for over 1000. If I hadn’t bought my wideovals two months ago, I would be all over that like white on rice on a paper plate in the middle of a snow storm.
I would feel ashamed as a fellow f-body owner if you didn’t take that deal.
maybe you can use the money you are saving for some m/t’s and some bogarts?

Good man! I ran those tires for awhile… they are GREAT! Dry traction is great… wet traction is unbelievable for a summer performance tire… snow traction… well… you shouldn’t be driving your ws6 in the snow anyways…
If your looking for another alternative Steve I notice the Kumho MX’s come in your size also. Dunno if the specs & pricing is what your looking for, but traditionally they have been good tires. Cheeks mentioned the azenis, which arn’t bad on a lighter car, but on a heavier car they tend to get heated to fast and get greasy. The MX’s don’t mind heat and stick pretty well. I was going to say just get the Bridgestone RE-01 but they don’t make them in your size.
Thanks for the input guy’s…I am going to get those F1-GS-D3’s off of Brian…that is a pretty damn good deal considering they are basically new…and I read some reviews on them and all said thay were awesome tires.
Those KDW’s are great tires, I had them on all 4 corners but I needed to go bigger in the back with my new wheels. I am still running them on the front. great tire. but the Deal with Brian is amazing!!! if you don’t take them i will
