Figured I would check here, but I am looking to hire 2 positions at my dealership. We are a John Deere dealer and I am looking for an on road technician as well as a service advisor.
The on road tech needs to have a clean license, be good with customers, and have a knowledge of small engines/equipment. It will mostly be performing service work but may expand to repairs given the level of experience.
The service advisor will be working along side my service manager typing work orders, receiving equipment in from customers, talking to customers on the phone, and billing out and closing work orders. Must be good with customers, friendly, and have a good attitude. Mechanical experience preferred.
Send me a pm on here with your info and we can work out details from there.
Anything part time? where is it?
Man you really don’t know what to do for a career, do you?
Not going to get into this in his thread.
Just curious what dealer you work with. We do a lot of business at HRT (canary’s old location).
It is also HRT but in the Clifton Park area
Who cares? He’s trying to find something that’s a good fit for him, it doesn’t have to be his “dream job” FFS.
PJB; apply for the service advisor position.
Thank you, I don’t care what I do as far work goes, althOugh I would prefer to work with my hands. I just need to get into something where I can make a few thousand more a year than I do now.
Pretty sure you work for the state? Take into account what your benefits are worth… just saying. Easily worth 5-7k a year with state benefits. Mine are terrible. GL
Yes I work for the state but I do not get all the benefits that come with it because I am a temp.
service advisor/tech sounds way better than toyota and hyundai… If i still lived in the area that would be right up my qualifications
so what about if i have a 4 year degree in political science…
