Personally, I’d wait until you get down there. The firearms laws are much looser. I would bet that you’ll find far better deals in TN than in PA.
The XD would probably be “OK” if you’re on a budget…personally, and from considerable experience, I have alot more faith in Glock and Sig.
I would assume that also, but Im trying to keep my Pa license and permit. If I bought a gun there I would have to be a Mississippi resident (Ill be working in Memphis but living in Ms). I would just fly home on a weekend buy my gun and then go back to MS.
Here is the problem today though I spoke with someone at the Allegheny Co. Sheriff’s Dept today they said there is no reciprocity agreement between the states of PA, TN, and MS. But they also told me that there was no agreement between PA and AZ and guess what they were wrong. This was proved by AZ DPS. And according to http://handgunlaw.us/ thanks Jackdup there are agreements between both states and PA.
It is my understanding that you can keep all your PA paperwork, and buy a gun down there, but I guess you won’t really know until you try to buy one. I am pretty sure you can buy a used handgun there, like we buy used shotguns here, no paperwork at all.
Reciprocity seems to be getting better all the time. In Alaska, all you need is a valid driver’s license to carry a concealed weapon. In VT, you need nothing at all, anyone who can legally possess the weapon can carry it concealed…now that’s my kind of state.
You’re welcome. AGSD is not known for its up to date and thorough knowledge of these laws.
Also, I hear TN is a downright friendly state to those supporting the 2nd Amendment.
i carry a smith & wesson 40 sigma series for work… real light… top halfs stainless steel… they go brand new down Browns armory in rochester for 340.00 brand new and lifetime warranty… shoots very nicely too might i add…
He already has a Sigma.
And its an inaccurate piece of shit
Read the whole thread first n00b
Like I said last night
He wants to upgrade from inaccurate to accurate. Not downgrade to inaccurate and unreliable.
That gun has 2 realistic purposes, the main one is for intimidation/execution proceedings in the middle east, and the other involves movie cameras.
hahaha we were sitting around drinking beer last night and he said i should buy one. I said I didnt feel like spending five dollars everytime I pulled the trigger.
If I were to ever get a .50 cal it would be a
But Im buying a weapon for concealment lol
would you recommend a used s&w sigma 40 cal. for 300 bucs? i see you have one and a guy i am working with is selling one it has 4 mags and the nice case and comes with two box’s of bullets. its only been fired 2 days prob less then 40 shots thru it he said.
its just like the one in the pic up above composit on bottom and stainless on top.
I was looking about a few months ago where someone did testing on a 22 rimfire and found it to be lethal at 75 yards and able to completely penetrate and exit the otherside of a carcass with 5 layers of clothes on it at that distance.
That said I have a Taurus 1911…over 1000 rounds thru it with 1 stove pipe in the first 50 rounds cause I didnt load the clip right. 0 problems every since. Its big and I really cant CC it…would like a http://www.kel-tec-cnc.com/p3at.htm or the .32 for concealed carry if i find the money.
Dan
I wouldnt recommend it for the following reasons.
If its not clean it will jam. (either on the ramp or it will stovepipe)
At 10 yards mine drops 1 ft.
Non adjustable sights.
Ask 1320 about his he had one I think.
Whats anybodys thoughts on Walther ???
I’ve never fired a Taurus 1911, but I have 2 of them and I love John Browning’s design. I have a P3AT, but I’d like to get the new Ruger LCP to replace it.
Are you interested in buying my P3AT?
Keltec p3at? … Price?
If i had the money id prob be all over it…what are u asking tho…and how do u like it?
Still not sure why… XD beats glock at their own game
I’d like to get about $260 for it. It would come with the extra mag I bought.
