Lost my one and only key, dealership can’t cut one it’s too old, so guess I got to replace it all, need the ignition box, and door locks

yes I guess you do lol. Was there a point to this thread or are you just stating a fact?
I’m sure if you checked the classifieds, you may find a cure to your problem.

why go through all that trouble? A locksmith can use your original lock to recreate the key. Problem solved.

The point to this thread was in hopes someone is parting out a car and still has those avaiable, and second it’s 250$ for a locksmith to recreate a key, sine I’m in no hurry the cat isn’t on the road figured I have time to crab a cheap one from a parts car dummy

250$?? I suggest you look around. But since you have time, a lock swap may be cheaper depending on how much you get it for.

just got the car the other day and literally lost it that night! Doh I have 3 little siblings a new puppy and the key wasn’t on a key chain yet so that’s how I lost it my bad, funny how I post for help and keep getting unhelpful remarks :stuck_out_tongue: lol thanks guys! Trust me I wouldda got another key the next day, trust me I called around a bit, but anyways if anyone had these things and wants to sell them post it on here and it’d be great! :slight_smile:

thats bullshit bud check your glovebox there will be a four or five digit code bring it to nissan and they’ll cut it i have a 89 just got my key cut last week

is it not possible for nissans Fast program to tell you the key?

i should go get cuts of mine, i only have one for my 180 and one for my cressida.

Is it not possible for Nissan Fast to get the key code? from in the glovebox or something? or am i dreaming.
