I don’t know any of the history and therefore I find it hard to keep some of this stuff straight. But is someone claiming they ran 12.1 in a bolt-on LS1 car? That would be a real feat. For comparisons sake, a C6 Z06 has 500hp and weighs 3-500lbs less than an F-body and won’t run that quick. And maybe more to the point, that is so much faster than what I would consider possible that I wouldn’t believe it without some kind of proof.
Did I misread something, 'cause that is just an outrageous claim, if anyone actually has made it.

lol the car weighs sub 3300lbs…and puts down around 350 to the wheels…it also has pretty agressive gearing with the 4l60e and 3.73 gears…I can post a whole list of stock internal cars that have gone into the 11s with out an issue.
And you made the z06 comparison theres a big diffrence between running 12.2 @ 112 on slicks and running 11.8 @ 12X(or whatever the new z06 runs) on stock tires…
I dont see how its so hard to belive the video I posted of the 12.6 was on nittos with a 1.93 or or 1.94 60 with slicks I had a much better 60

Hmm, I didn’t consider slicks and if it’s really less than 3,300lbs, I gues it’s possible. Pretty damn good, I gotta think about it for a bit. I suppose on a PERFECT day (dense air, favorable wind, etc., it COULD happen. The planets would have to be aligned right though.
