I have been searching around and really saw some nice s10 extremes that i like that are in my price range, but they have 4cyl motors. So i figured that i would need to take out that motor and i figure go big or go home. So what would i have into putting an ls1 in a newer extreme? I would think there would be alot of fabricating or is in a simple drop which i doubt. Any imput would be great…

LS1 Extreme is what i wanted too, after i do the clutch and suspension on the neon i wanted to buy a 4 cyl extreme, just a nice little truck with decent gas mileage. drive it for about a year, then park it and see what i could do with the LS1. dunno how much it would cost to do it tho yet… it would be fun
I loved my lil xtreme, it handled really well for a pickup. Just don’t expect to drive it through winter, driving it in snow is pretty dangerous.
This site is very informative. I’ve also driven and rode in the LS1 Blazer (2nd from the bottom on the left hand side) as my friend in Columbus owns it. Very nice ride, beautiful throttle response, etc… I’ve seriously considered calling up Brian and taking mine out to JJ’s for an ls1 conversion. It’s a beautiful thing, just alot of $$
