So all the honda guys on this board and this hasn’t turned into a huge HP per liter battle yet? Slap a turbo on a AP1 s2000 and you have 400HP out of a 2 liter engine. So throw twin turbos on a 5.7 liter engine and you get 550WHP? Holy damn amazing engine. :bowdown
And yes, I’m talking bone stock engine for both vehicles.
Seriously, what the hell do you expect to get out of a 6liter engine? Yes its a crazy powerful and capable engine but its not all that as so many people make it out to be. Course 200HP/liter out of a Honda isn’t either.

stallmers torque curve is pretty healthy… 1.8 liter… torque way down low breaks things, why do you think hondas can run big power on alot of oem parts.
Its actually a single turbo set up on the ls1’s that will do over 500…fuck it slap a procharger on and at 8psi you will make the same power. Hondas do make awesome power,as do evo’s…subarus dont
Ah your right, 10PSI. What a large number. But you didn’t mention TQ previously so why throw it in now? Either way it makes more HP and TQ per liter than the LS1. Though I feel like a real honda fanboi arguing using HP/liter.
Smaller engines by design are MUCH more efficient at making power and that is a fact you can’t argue. Yes the 6 liter engine makes gobs of power and gobs of torque but you are comparing it to engines less than half its size that make much more than half its power. Prove me wrong on that fact without twisting it or changing it and I will admit to have been defeated by the almighty LS1.
Course I love the LS1 and all variations for the power it makes so I guess I can admit its a pretty damn nice engine family anyways

LS1s sound like junk unless youve got a true dual exhaust on it… they are kind of raspy through that y-pipe into the single muffler

depends. I just have a bullet muffler on mine right now with no cats and my CME tips…The Tips took away some of the Rasp…like half throttle around 2300-2700rpms, its kinda raspy…but WOT it sounds like sex and thats all I care about :banana
