:ohnoes :excited
After a few guys just did 35r’s on completely stock block K20’s on pump gas and made 500+hp and ran mid-low 10’s at 130mph+…i think it’s safe to say they are on the list of one of the most stout motors out there. Not to mention how well the K20 head flows, you really don’t have to touch the heads until you get up in the real high HP #'s like 700hp
:ninja hopefully i can be running those times next year with my DD!! :ohnoes
oh and there was ONE guy that did 10.68 @ 136 on a 150 shot, full interior EG Si hatch, built block
still reliable as shit tho?
2 of the 35r K20’s are their daily drivers. I posted one of them on here a month or so ago. He ran 10.5x-10.6x at 135mph and drove it home.
and the Si hatch that has a 150 shot is full interior, drives it on the street, it’s a street car and runs mid 10’s at 136mph
Same thing on a 5.0 you in the 9’s & 10’s :mwahaha
Put an LS1 in the civic with built internals, spray it, and I bet it will go faster.
LSx > ALL.
.
A K20 doesn’t “poop” on LS1’s. Come on joey get with the program. :nod I’m talking stock K20 vs stock LS1. A sprayed/fully built/turbo etc. k20 against a 200,000 mile bone stock LS1 doesn’t count. :mwahaha
Depends how much you beat on it. I could throw a 2.5" pulley on my car and drive it like a grandma with no adverse effects. Or I could floor it around everywhere and pop my motor in 500 miles. It’s all in the driver.
I helped my buddy Greg just put spray in his GTO today at my shop. Let’s gauge his numbers against K20’s and see what we get… His car is stock other than exhaust and spray. LS1 car.
what size shot? wet or dry??
150 wet, NX kit
nice…long tubes or no?
Long Tubes, No Cat, SLP Loudmouth
that car is good for 500hp on the bottle…
2JZ > LS1.
i would agree, but two different motors, n/a=ls1 boosted=2jz
so? it’s the way they came
2JZ bone stock internals = 1000RWHP > *
Easy to make big power.
LSX Iron block…2000 hp.
