LSx people - Cost effective powah

Just bought a Yukon 3/4 w/ 6.0.

What’s the most cost effective way to get more torque out of it? It’s primary function is towing and just want to know options if I need mo powa. What would I have to spend to get x lbft?

Trying to keep stock feel/appearance so no exhaust mods, etc.

Thanks.

Edit: That was a little vague…

If I wanted another 40lbft of torque, what are the best ways to get it? How about 80?

Motor rated stock for 320bhp/360trq.

talk to ECS supercharging.

No FI, plz.

then i would say cam, headers/long tubes, intake and tune.

ps: ECS does NA too. talk to them they are very good guys. talk to chris and tell him i (emanuel) refered you.

Roughly how much money are we talking for that and how much powa?

$300 and 550rwhp

cam with nothing else about ~3-500
headers and long tuube if they even make them for your app ~800-1500
intake ~150-300
tune ~300

K, any ideas on the power gain?

id say at least 80whp

N20-$4XX

Will make 100-200hp

:lol

Twin Turbo kit.

:facepalm

k20 swap! lol

Do simple exhaust mods. You can keep the stock cat back just throw a high flow cat and a set of headers on it. Get the thing tuned with an intake on it and itll make a decent amount of power. Or go to ls1tech.com and browse around

gears will obviously help as well.

sell, and buy diesel.

If you want torque and use it for towing…put a higher ratio gear in it.

If I remember correctly, the trucks/yukons didnt get LSx motors…they all got Iron block motors.

LQ4/LQ9 = LSx

Yeah honestly, Id do an intake, catback, and a tune with some 3.73’s in it.

its the same motor just not an AL block
