around a 100+ those m3’s pull hard. they rev out to 8000 have longer gears, he was prolly just messin with ya.
have you been in, driven, or raced one? ive driven an E46 M3 Coupe, and raced one years ago with my mk2 VR6, they are fast, but not that fast. and the topic of discussion is a convertible, which are pigs. so, 285 or so whp + 4000lb… think about it.i know they pull pretty well up top, my friend has an 02 white coupe, thats probably the lightest one weve got in america, its got the 18’s no sunroof,cloth seats, no navi, with a TMS chip, its really fun to drive, but i dont think its gonna pull on an SS up top… maybe from a dig it would be good since a well driven E46 M3 can go pretty well.

yes i’ve been in one. it was not a drop top, it was an 02 black coupe. to me it felt pretty fast. i have not been in a convt so i don’t know the difference. :sad
