Alright so the deal is, i replaced my autometer boost gauge with a megan racing boost gauge and i’ve noticed some sort of rattling sounds coming from the gauge when i accelerate. It starts to rattle sometimes at about 2500rpm. I’ve also noticed that you can tap the gauge on the side and the needle will move around on it’s own without even touching the gas. Does anyone here have a megan racing boost gauge and have you experienced anything like this?

if it’s rattling at a higher RPM like that, something must be loose. is it possible to open the gauge up? maybe it’s just not sitting tight either
well if you’re talking about the tube with the fitting to the back of the gauge, it’s tight. i tightened it all the way… and it still rattles. 
Did you buy it used?
nope i bought it brand new from varun at the beginning of the summer-ish. I’m guessing that nobody else’s MR boost gauge does this…
