I wasnt planning on buying it. Just wanted to learn from people with experience, as i know Mk has used it before.
ive never used meth in my cars, talk to cossey or deadbeat, or turbotravis. i know what it does, but im not a fan of water/meth injection.

I don’t like meth bc if the pump fails, there goes your setup! I know they have come a very long way, but I’d rather just run E85 than deal with the hassle of meth

It’s dumb 99 percent of the time for any Capital Region high hp per ci engine to use meth/race fuel when E85 is so cheap and readily available
meth is used mostly for the increase in octane boost, now most meth injection kits don’t let you run 100% meth throught the system as it will eat through most plastic’s in it’s pure form. so most kits have a 50/50 mix of meth to water. you can use it as an octane booster still but you have to be 100% sure EVERY TIME you fill up your tank that it’s the exact same mixture ratio as before. company’s like snow performance sell a 50/50 mix already done for you, they also sell pure so you can cut it yourself.
I would use iso heat (yellow bottle) in my car and that had a small enough tolerance between the level of meth in it that it was safe for me to use for my purposes. Other people use washer fluid, which is not a safe choice as the acceptable tolerance for washer fluid’s meth mixture can be anywhere from 10% to 25% meth. not such a good thing when you tune the car to one % and it ends up being the lower % next time you fill up. The iso was 20%-22% iirc.
When i ran the meth on my car i used it mostly for the cooling benefits, as my motor was know for having outrageously high IAT’s after the blower, but i also felt comfortable bumping the time up 2* at WOT which helped to squeek out just a few extra ponies. My goal when using it wasn’t to run crazy hp, it was to help control heat, lower iat’s and give myself a safety net with my motor. i ran it for 25,000 miles with not one issue

well travis, meth makes more sense for me. i drive my car every where all of the time from spring to fall, sooooo i just dont feel like bleeding my tank everytime i want to fill up on e85. and there arent e85 stations everywhere. im not going to plan my trips and drives according to my fuel. then if i get into a jam, bleed the tank on the side of the road and go and get fuel. i just dont want to deal with that right now. i know how great it is, but its not for me at this point in time.
How long does meth last while mixing?
meth wont go bad, depending on how hard you drive your car you should get anywhere from a month to 3 months between fill ups. for a gallon tank, if you get a 5 gal tank that “should” last all summer
