$240k as tested. Imagine telling your parents that a new Corvette in the future could would cost that much :eyes:

Not really a fair way to look at it though. You can buy a 2026 Stingray for low to mid 70’s. A 1991 base Vette was $32500, which adjusted for inflation is $77600. The difference now is the massive gap between the base and the top of the line. A 2026 base Stingray is still a serious performance car, but a $240k ZR1X is like comparing a P51 Mustang and a F22 Raptor. Sure, the Stingray and the ZR1X are both Corvettes but under the skin they are pretty much nothing alike. The ZR1X was built to be one of the fastest cars production street cars (in my best Jeremy Clarkson voice) in the world.

Sorry, I wasn’t specific enough. I imagined myself traveling back in time to the ‘90s and going to a local cruise night just to film reactions of the folding chair class when I told them that I was a) from the future and b) new Corvettes will be +$200k. :upside_down_face:

You still gotta tell them they can also buy a Stingray in 2026 for less than they paid for their 1991 (with inflation adjustment), and it would absolutely smoke their 1991 in every performance category. :wink:

Just go to a corvette meet today and ask people if they remember you. Odds are you would literally be talking to the same person you would have encountered in the past. minus the official while/blue new balance sneakers.

A 1991 zr1 was $65k which is about $155k today. Considering how much more the zr1x is I’ll accept it lol
