Mitsubishi paint is a one of a kind, thats for sure. When I had my black 03, people used to make fun of me if it was windy out saying the paint was blowing off my car. I had so many huge chips, I have pics from 100 feet away and you can see them like you were staning 2 feet away. Id get a small rock chip and the paint would literally peel off in the wind. They wouldnt do shit for me, even under warranty. I did however have my roof (rock chip so deep it was down to the bare metal) painted at Mt Pleasant collision and it cost me less than 200.00 for the entire roof. They did an excellent job.

I am taking the car to Powell’s Auto Body in Bentlyville on Jan 15. So I guess we’ll see next week.
Update:
They have the car. Fiance called to see how long and was told it may be over a week. There is more labor than what they thought. They are taking it down to the bare metal…ect. So it seems like it is going to get done “right”. Lets hope it all turns out good.

Got a quote to repaint the front bumper…b/c it has a few rock chips and what not. $608…wow I thought that was a bit pricey. I would’t want to see the bill to paint the entire car…prob like $5,000 going by that.

Picking up the car today…sweet day to pick it up…weather is perfect. I am sure it will look like shit when I get it…since the shop is in Bentlyville and I have to pick it up at SP Mitsubishi
