I totally agree with you, and I only have four REAL friends, but alas, only two of them know how to drive a stick, so I’m not about to let the other two learn on the G. They can learn on my Civic if they want though 
Only 4 people are allowed to drive my car, everyone else can fuck right off.
None of my friends are allowed. They don’t understand how much effort, pain, love was put into it, and would beat on it.
There are prob. about 3 people in the world I’d let drive it, my cuz, and 2 co-workers.
