Well guys, I know it’s looking like I’m just never going to get to a meet, but tonight my car got it’s first trip on a set of dollies behind a tow truck. Yeah, well I guess you can’t have a true performance car if it’s never been on the back of a tow truck.
At least that’s what I’m telling myself.
So needless to say, I didn’t make it there, not all the way anyhow. Next one I’ll take the truck or make sure my car is actually in working order.
Now since I can’t drive I’m gonna go do some of this…

That sucks to hear man, you missed an awesome meet. We even went for a cruise as well. Thanks to everyone that came, I’m definitely itching to get my car out even worse than before.
Yeah thanks man, it sucked big time. I was hoping to get out there. My biggest fear of breaking down in the middle of a street came true. Well, at least I got that out of the way now.
Called CityWide Towing. Guy was great. My car sits like 4" off the ground and he did a great job of towing it. Put it on the dollies and drove like 30 kph to make sure it didn’t rub or jump around. Turns out he owns an old school GTO and wants to run against me at Race City this year when I get it all worked out.
Forgot to mention thought the dickhead jackasses that drove by in a white cavalier. Instead of stopping to help they decided they just call my car a piece of shit and drive by. Nice. At least they could have got out and said it to my face.
And also there’s the people who don’t understand that when a car is shut down in a lane with it’s hazards on, that it’s not going to help to drive right up the ass of it and blow the horn. Man I’ve never seen so many idiots in the span of an hour before. Like what is going through a persons head when they do that? “Oh there’s a car with the hazard lights on and the driver’s standing outside on the phone. Maybe I’ll get as close as I can to the bumper so I can’t pull around, and then lay on my horn. Yeah, that’ll help the situation.” :roll: :doh: :stupid: :loser:

it seems like most of the guys who tow cars have crazy cars as well. we got an ae86 towed to my house and the guy saw the sil80, ef9 and dc2 and he was like oh a new project, and i thought you guys were buying a beater.
but ya good meet guys and I can’t wait for the next one.

Thought we’d do something a little different this time. Oriental style lol. Howabout we go for all you can eat sushi at sushi ichiban on mcleod, then cruise up to the dessert house or something for bubble tea, then hit up some photo spots for some pictures weather depending

I don’t know about everyone else but i’m comming down on Monday and heading back to edmonton on Tuesday. If anyone wants to meet up on monday night or on tuesday i would be down
I think everyone’s back at work on monday lol.
Turns out that the meet is pretty much going to be organzied by phone. The 7 or so people that have confirmed attendance are all on my phonelist, or someone elses. If anyone is interested in coming, and is not linked to someone that is, please let us know and we’ll get a number off you that we can reach you at. Plans have not been written in stone yet because of the cost issue, and a couple other little factors, hence the ‘go with the flow’ method this time.
Just post your plans here before you head out, I’ll check it around that time.

Blame me for that, havn’t had a whole lot of time to plan and organize any meets lately. Plus it’s so much easier to just sit and wait for someone else to call me and ask if I want to cruise with them lol.
This weekend I may head down to medicine hat to check out this motorsportds event they have going on, 40$ to participate, 10$ to watch, with free camping (sat/sun). I don’t know too much more about it, but it wouldn’t hurt to check it out. If anyone wants to head down with me let me know
