Yeah the shear power from a Iron block really gets to the head
He’s getting his work done at Mississauga Engines.
Sasha, How much oversize did you go on the pistons?
Dou you know how many cc’s you gain, and if not, what the bore and stroke are?
Theo
Stroke doesnt change with pistos. Bore is .5 over bore.
How many CC gained… not much with a .5 over bore and 1.2mm headgasket.
I know stroke doesn’t change, I was just going to do the math…
Theo
actually im using 1mm overbore, the cc is something like 2050cc rather than 1997cc. The headgasket is 1.18mm rather than stock which is 1.1mm i belive.
The compression of hte pistons are 9.0:1 but since i have a slightly thicker headgasket it works out to about 8.8-8.9:1.
When you give someone an entire engine and say “here, fix it” they tend to rape you up the ass, since it is largely thought of as specialty work.
Hooked up? When I was checking pricing Cesar was charging more than that.
yea the prices were maybe a bit higher i cant remember exactly

Ya its the kat… No never could spell and never will be able 2. I use to do that hooked on phonic’s type of crap when i was young.
Cool il give them a call when I do mine. let me konw how there qualtiy is.
Caesar’s prices aren’t fixed. If he likes you, or you have an in, they go down. If you pay cash, they go down.
If you come in and say "waaah I broke my motor. Mr man fix it please. I think someone said I broke a connecting cam. "
Then they go up.
I’ve seen him charge up to $10Gs for an SR rebuild.
Why just not buy a new motor or a car with a sr already in it? haha.
Thanks for the heads up.
Heh, well that was an isolated incident.
Basically a kid came in after blowing his second SR, turned over someone’s credit card and told Caesar to make it not blow up. He didn’t even blink at $10g’s.
If you take the time to talk to him, and you’re friendly, he’ll probably hook you up, he’s pretty easy going.
