Had a ton of stupid little problems like a shorted out coil pack, shorted out coil pack connector, broken relay, the ViPEC not communicating with the laptop if the Racepak IQ3 dash was plugged into the ViPEC, and what not. Really frustrating stuff that took hours upon hours to figure out, track down, and fix. But, on the home stretch (FINALLY), harness is done, dash is installed and configured, just need to put one bosch clip on for the new water temp sensor and fix a bit on the crank trigger and we’re good to go tuning.
Two current photos, still need to put labels on the switches and buttons on the dash. Could add a few more but I don’t need flat shifting and what not yet.

I added AWD too.
So a 350Z with a 370Z front clip…and a 5.6 liter engine, what the hell do you call this car now? Visually it’s now a 360Z…mechanically I guess we could call it a 560Z…so those two elements together make it a 460Z??? Just call it a Mutt???

It runs really well. Need to tighten up that squeeky belt and check over some stuff. Mike @ Innovative has been infinitely helpful with getting it running, hopefully power tuning early next week as long as I don’t find any major issues with it. It sounds fantastic in person, and is wayyy louder than my straight piped M5, rev’s up really quickly with the carbon/carbon twin plate.

That’s the manliest sounding 350z ever.
Few seconds more of video, had to pull the trans off tonight to fix something. Basically ended up adapting Titan Pilot bearing to fit a 350z pilot bushing inside of it. Got rid of a horrible sound it was making while engaging gears. It’s smooth now.

I can’t say enough thank you’s to Mike and the guys at Innovative Tuning. They put a ton of time at the end helping me sort out small issues, and getting the car tuned. It’s absolutely fantastic. I am SO pleased. Literally would not go anywhere else. Thanks again! Can runs FANTASTIC, sounds beefy, has the settings I want on it, and makes power. Two things that definitely need to be changed are the radiator is to small for the application (need a thicker core), and I need to put cams in this motor ahahha! The power dies up top, but it’s to be expected. Here’s a video of it doing a 4th gear pull, and riding the Pit Lane Speed limiter with Mike’s foot on the floor, flicking the limiter off and just going WOT straight from the Pit Speed.
Such an unexpected sound. Love it.
