TBH it was paulys car that made me want to get one… Even with that obnoxious drag spoiler it had on when he first got it… Loved that car.

That grey/green color or whatever it was is sexy, never seen anything like that before.

Thanks man! That drag wing was sick… lol… Glad I could inspire some notch lovin’. I miss that thing like crazy, with some fine tuning and just a little more love that car had high 10’s in it easily. Was in the low 11’s all day on all motor (11.32 with a 1.72 60ft was my best pass iirc) with a completely out of whack and untuned suspension and a redneck racing style garage tuned carb/timing. Sad I got fed up with it before I took it to that level. I had the timing on my electronic MSD distributor locked out at like 25 degrees i think, basically slapped the carb on it, turned a few screws and got it to idle, and dump TONS of fuel at wot. Every control arm i had was double heim jointed, the shocks at all four corners were adjustable at both ends, never even fucked with my tire pressure, had different springs with different rates to try out in the back coilovers, never bothered…the list goes on. After working on it for 2 years finally getting it all together and having it run as well as it did all things considered, i just was too excited and too impatient to do anything else. Bought a nitrous kit that never left the box, never got it properly dyno tuned like i planned, and never went out and tested just launching the fucker. Anything more than a 1.6 60’ for the work and parts that car had into it is pathetic. But now it’s in kentucky with different pistons and a turbo on that big block. Caged out running mid 9’s i believe. Que cera cera…

They’re just such a fantastic platform for such a wide variety of builds you can’t go wrong…too many options for stupid cheap, comparatively speaking.

Running good. Morgan finished dyno tuning it Friday and hes going to resume street tuning Monday. Left off working on decel clean up.
