My alternator broke!

Well my alternator broke yesterday while cruising, yes broke, split the case in half. I smelled something like burning electrical, worst smell in the world, and then all my gauges started flickering so i pulled over and sure enough it broke the case, bearing was screaming. I limped it home, only a mile or so. But oh well ill have it back up and running this week.

I myself had a scare in the Lotus yesterday…

Go to start it in the morning, clutch in, car won’t go in gear. Not at all. Ended up realizing after a few minutes of mental chaos, to check the fluid. It was low. Thank god…

Much cheaper to replace the clutch master than the clutch…

is that an LS1 or an LT1 alternator?

…Well…but…um…yea, sigh the bracket has been broken I found out for quite some time (the one alt. hold down bolt) New parts should be here today. Im going to the 1/4 friday to lay down the law on that new alternator! PS: ill get pics of it broken
