depending on what he does for a living and how badly/long term his leg is injured, loss of future income could be significant.
But he wouldn’t be set for life. There’s not much you can do in an auto injury aside from maxing out the insurance limits of the drivers. Maybe he gets lucky and the lady has a 3 mil umbrella policy…
Honestly, unless he’s significantly injured to the point where he could get serious loss past/future wages…he can call any lawyer and they’ll pound out a quick chop-shop-style settlement.

its tough to get miney for scars if they are not on the face…my borther ex-g/f got into an accident and has a couple tiny like 1cm scars on her chin and she got like 150k…and they had to really fight for it…now if he physically cant work for the rest of his life which i doubt them he could get set for life…my teacher in HS his wife got rear-ended fucked her back and doc said she couldnt work again it would be alot of strain on her back they sued and got 1.7 mil so they are ranges
