That is my fav as well. I did not take enough pics documenting the process but I individually blasted every simgle part for everything to look like new. Then we powdercoated everything before all the new bushings were installed
Black on nice mesh polished or chrome wheels is my fav. So simple and clean. I hope to replace my wheels with some ccw classics or somehting of the like.

The pic is kinda decieving - is this a metallic red powdercoat or a gloss red?
Either way, black + red accents + silver “lace” wheels = classic hotness.
It is a gloss red on everything but the rear subframe was painted a metallic red. When I saw that sparkle paint I had to have it hahaha. The red accents are nice however they will not be seen but that is ok.

Also one power bummer is that for this season I am running a mid length header setup. This is really going to hurt the power on a big cam. I just do not feel like spending $1,500 for new headers/y-pipe right now. So I hope I can still make around 400rwhp on the current setup. If it does not then I will prob spring for the new headers setup. FML

So there are also going to be some good updated next week I hope. You guys that think it looks good now well just wait. I HOPE by the end of next week it will have both an inteior back in it and be painted. Although this might be a little optimistic as the Interior might need two days worth of work and I can only get out one day I think. We shall see.
The sound deadening is aging to be a solid days work. ITS INDIDE THE FUCKING DOOR/HATCH SKIN!!!
Yeah I want to stab someone. I want to get out there by 2pm with dry ice and get to it with at least one other person hopefully. Then others are coming to help a lil later and you know I have no problem working till 4-5am. I am mostly worried about getting the blower motor to work before we re install the interior and making the carpet.

You should be able to get all of it out in under an hour
It isn’t factory stuff. It is like some shit this guy got at home depot and stuck in the entire car. The stuff just rips and is hard as hell to get out. Heat makes it a terrible mess. So we are going to try dry ice. But IMO we just need a few people willing to just do hard work for 4-6 hours and it would be done. I have like 6-8hrs into it and it is probably 1/4 done.
So someone actually put MORE sound deadening in lol? wtf
