If you look closely at my mazda, it is aftermarket sound deadened too. It’s tar paper with some shmegma on it.

I don’t think this is as big of a deal as a lot of people make it out to be, most of the dyno comparisons I’ve seen show a loss in low end torque and little peak power difference. Or, instead of spending $1500, you could build your own. What mid lengths are you running?

I agree with you until we start looking at huge cam cars. My cam is 242/248 .608 .612 I think off the top of my head. It has been my experience that on this type of setup long tubes help a good bit. But I am going to set it up the way it is then see how it does. I am certainly going to find out for sure before I spend more $$$

I was thinking of buying the longtubes and then making an x-pipe back setup. I could probably sell my full stainless 3.5" system to cover most of this cost. I should probably do that haha

That sure is nice however mine is going to look mostly stock for this season. Just kinda slammed/wheels and r1 lip. That car is one of my favorites though.
