So I didn’t feel like writing research papers the last few days so I pressed all of the bushings back in and went and picked up stainless lines…for the entire car. pretty much ready to go back to roller status again but I have to figure out boots for the rear axle and rebuild the calipers.
I don’t know if I love you or hate you.
My fucking motor isn’t even in yet.
What you waiting on? Don’t be a pssy.
Well I wasn’t able to get as much as I wanted done this week mostly due to laziness but here is some progress pics. I need to rebuild the calipers and figure out what I am doing with the axle boot situation. Then just replace the tie rod boots and we are good to go. Maybe by next weekend we shall see.
After I already started hitting the rear with a wire wheel for awhile
Painted 1st coat then 2nd using nason chassis coat
SS brake lines for the entire car. Yeahhhh Boieeeee obv zip tied to the old ones
Powdercoated driveshaft and oh yeah I pressed all of my bushings back in. All delrin and the pillow balls.
You’re keeping this AWD, right?
im just cringing looking at all the fresh powder coated pieces laying on the cement floor. lol you should coat the diff cover to match your theme. i did my diff cover trans grape mainly cause im gay. but it looks cool. lol
The diff cover gloss black is going to stand out in the gray subframe with gold all around it. My theme is gray, gold, black. Thus the diff cover being the color it is.
This powdercoat has held up to me slamming on it with a hammer. Setting it down on cement is fine.
Fggt
I can do the cover gold if you want, easy to pop that off, strip down and shoot, or a fat coat of gloss black, ultimate chrome, or something else obnoxious. florescent orange would be cool
Ive been doing some photos for this fggts build, Drew has the documentation on progress lock. Snap, post, done. Im going to try and capture the essence of the build in a bit of a different manner, we’ll see how it goes. Here are a few for now, if you couldn’t already tell the edits are pretty far from my norm. I’ll update periodically.
Spam, if you feel like coming to get it and doing it asap then lets do something retarded with it. IMO it looks dope as ef right now after it dried all the way.
Yes IanK Pics!!! Dope
Calculating Infinity was the FIRST thing I though of when he posted that. Great album and kudos on knowing it.
I am anxious to see what it weighs when done. I am guess 2950lbs full tank street tires.
Get your research paper done so we can wrench.
Put 2 more hours in last night after I got home…LS1 harness is complete minus O2.
hahaha Luke you are insane. I love it!
