but yeah, when I was looking at project cars an rx7 came up and was thinking of a similar job…unfortunately I don’t have the same mechanical skills as a lot of people on the forums (cough you) so the build wouldnt be the same IMO. If hte job market sucks when I graduate next year (it will) I was thinking of doing day/night classes at a mechanic school just for the hell of it…

You really shouldn’t paint it, just draw/sign/doodle all over the bay during the build process. Get people who helped to sign and draw a funny pic. That would be sweet to fill the entire bay with “grafiti” of sorts.
Kinda like the eurofggts and their bumpers/roof racks but way less gay.
haha if the rest of the car wasn’t so clean I would. I would more likely do a nice coat of gloss black and do graffiti over that if anything.
I think you should just keep it clean…sans graffiti. Don’t get me wrong though, I love your artwork.
I am not going to graffiti in the engine bay. Car is wayyyy too clean at this point for something like that. I still am in such awe of how the underside came out.

Sorry if I missed it, but where did you get your powdercoating done? Did you just drop off your pieces and they prepped them? What’s a ballpark of a typical piece cost?

Zac aka spam16v on here did it all for me. He can do prep on some but if you have a lot I have used jesse (suzukiriderman) from blast-off multiple times. I would contact Zac for pricing. But it is cheaper then I thought it would be if that helps.
