Great work man.
Dammit… Why must like everyfuckingthing be blocked at work.

JD making some hottness. Dope
more done last night. charge piping all set. i also welded up the t6 flange and it warped pretty good as expected. ill have to mill it flat again.
Now with all this done i need to fab the exhaust, and figure out where im going to put the twin wastegates.
Lookin good!
With every update on this project my pants get a little tighter…
Nice work!
fitment is super close. although i managed to keep the coils on the valve cover they may still need to be moved if heat from downpipe become an issue. also pipe is super close to the shock tower, some “massaging” of the pipe may be in order for a lil extra breathing space.
unfortunatetly the hood is extremely flat and has zero cowl to it so fitting a 4in downpipe is almost impossible with out sacrificing something.
Good work JD. Looks awesome.
Just cut a hole in the hood where the downpipe is and let it hang out, no biggy.
trust me, i wanted to. we could also rout it right out the pass side fender too. but drew isnt manly enough to do that.
Fuker looks like it means business now.

Having you do this section of the build was a decision I do not regret one bit. Great work man.
def think you should relocate coils to keep malfunction out of the equation drew…being up close and constantly peeking at it things are pretty tight everywhere but lookin sweet.i am still constantly envying the underside powder work…simply beautiful!
Man did you get under there to see the paint job I did on the underside too? I want to sleep under my car now.
Yeah we are deff going to relocate the coils it looks like. I need to do some looking as to where.
I will not rest until the entire car is as nice as the underside. Interior is really the last of it. 6-point and nice carpet job should really finish it off.
that downpipe fitment is pretty hairy, kind of a PITA to relocate the coils, but in the long run it’s definitely the right thing to do. Pretty fucking cool.
yes i did jack it up and crawl under there with a light it is all gorgeous…and yes i’m jealous as far as relocation it looked to me and discussed it a little with JD, you may be able to possibly move the whole bracket towards top center maybe like 2-3" re-drilling mount holes on bracket. It looked to me that there would be enough hood clearance (may require few more shaves) lol…you are kinda running out of hood rigidity though, not that that matters.
Relative to how much time I have into this build a few hr job like relocating the coils is a nice relaxing Saturday haha. I think I will like the look of the engine bay better as well.
Yeah that hood is getting really cut up.Oh well haha. Thanks man that underside was SO MUCH WORK. I love it though.
out the fender, i voted for this also
drew you should also get that turbo gold coated
