8pt won’t cut it, unless you’re referring to “8pt” as 8 points touching the floor w/door bars and a-pillars/roof hoop, which is actually a 10pt.

I run over 135mph with my 5 point. All the local tracks realy care about is if theres a cage for the once in a while weekend racer. Im sure if he tried to compete in a class he would have to have a 10pt.

For now it should be fine if and when i decide to upgrade or clean up this car ill either upgrade to the 10pt or just have a custom cage built.
