500ish for the block, rods and crank. 350is for the pistons.
Turbo, intercooler, intake, exhaust, and fuel system should be able to press on the 400+ mark. The 8v head might hold it shy. Which is good, cause I’m running stock cast pistons for now.
jay i went and looked at my intake it’s not alum it’s stainless…those velocity stacks are also stainless so i’m guessing they are pressed and welded. hope that helps
looks good i always wanted to build a older mopar 4 banger with a turbo. i had 2 omnis and always wanted to put a turbo on them and even had a whole trubo car for parts but never did it. my neighbor had a bunch of turbo mopars laying around his junkyard
i read an article in sport compact about a guy who built a turbo omni/horizon, whatever one dodge made. he put in the old lebaron turbo, ported it, added an intercooler, etc. etc, anyway, he was running under 11sec. with it. he even hid the exhaust pipes under the side of the car so it looked stock. they showed it racing against a lightning, and he was smoking it. anyway, good luck. it looks sweet so far.
