So they aren’t dangerous to each other. They typically are so stressed they freak the fuck out
that video lost 100% of it’s meaning by asking me (as a viewer) to adopt a vegan diet… asking me to buy free range or organic is one thing, but change my entire way of life? uhm right.
I also don’t see a big deal in the way this is done. We need to eat, we need a lot of food. Animals are FOOD. They are not pets. Death in nature is not a friendly or clean process.
Just like a Lion pounces on a gazelle, it is not a “hey, can you please die so I can eat you?” No, it is “I just chased you down, ripped your throat out and now you’re going to bleed to death as I start eating you while you’re still alive. om nom nom nom.”
It’s called nature. Humans just know of effective and efficient ways of speeding up the process to help feed us all.
My dad used to say “If you knew where your food came from you would never eat again.”
I’m just glad that in society today I don’t have to do it myself to eat. I have a couple of country living farmers who I work with who slaughter their own livestock and tell us stories of how it’s done. They say it is pretty natural.
