very sorry to hear. i lost my grandfather, whom i was very close with, at the end of summer. my grandma just died 3 weeks ago, and it has been very hard on me and my family, so i feel your pain. i am not one that displays a lot of emotion, but it deffinately hurts inside. i am soory to hear and you and your family have my condolences.
sorry to hear that man… I lost my grandmother just over a year ago as a result of a stroke. It was hell having to see her in the hospital for the few months she managed to fight thru it (half the time, she was talking to people that werent there and “just out of it”, then she’d be concous for an hour then back out of it again)… I was actually sort of relieved when she passed on as I didnt want to see her go into a nursing home though (actually, she was moved from the hospital, to the nursing home and lasted one day… I was the last one to see her alive :()
so I know how ya feel man if ya need to talk about it… again, my condolances… it’s not easy especially when you’re real close. If anything, atleast she’s in a better place now (lets face it, the world is going to hell in a handbasket)
Not at all. I have great memories of my grandfather that I wouldn’t trade for all the pain of losing him 2 years ago.
Bummer mang…keep your head up
SUx man, I have lost 3 out of 4 grand parents threw the years, just recently I lost my cousin in a ATV accident, that was pretty bad for me.
sorry man, all my grands are gone besides my dads mom, i dont know what ill do when she goes.
 Yeah Ive lost a grandfather…its harsh. You will feel better in time.

Thanks everyone Brought a smile to my face reading all of your nice comments! to all of you
my grandpa passed this past summer. he moved from florida to here in early spring, and passed a few months later. when he passed, i did, and still feel like crap for not going and visiting him as much as i could have. i went maybe once a week, but i could have made time, he was in west seneca… im going to regret that till the day that i die.
on his deathbead he gave my uncle (his son) the finger. not once, but twice. all in good fun of course.
best of luck to you and your family.
EDIT - to quote pet cemetary… “Death is where the pain stops and the good memories begin” so true… you’ll remember things involving your grandfather you totally forgot about in the next few weeks. i know i did.
I miss my Grandfathers more than anything.
Stay strong. Grandpa’s are the best.
