Nice work! Cabinets looks great, well worth the drive to go get them.

:rx3:

Pound Salt 4 up, 37 down
Pound salt jerk off masterbate till you cum. Pound is the action; that cause’s ejaculation. Salt refers to the semen; (tastes like egg whites mixed with saltwater).

Pound Salt down a rat hole;means go screw someone in the ass till you ejaculate.
I asked the boss for a raise he told me to go Pound Salt. The second time I asked; he told me to go Pound Salt down Rat hole.

lol I’m not sure he meant that version. But, you never know for sure with the mods. :nohomo:

this prob would have been like a 22-25k (including floor) job if he paid someone else to do this. it would prob take like 3-4weeks to do this with a crew. just by tearing out all the shit yourself you save the contractor about 2-3days of work and shit ton of money for yourself.

also there is a HUGE mark up when you go to like a kitchen and bath cabinet retail store because of delivery charges, “the interior designer” and of the other bs that they charge you for.

you save an incredible amount of money by doing shit yourself, in the end tho you will generally gain all of the money back you spent, and it will def help the house sale a lot quicker. you can gain a lot of money in the sale if your house is “up to date” (like 95 and newer design i think). anything really older than that the value of the house starts to go down even if everything looks amazing, just because they figure in costs the new homeowner will have to do to upkeep the more modern style.

the only advantage i would say to hiring a contractor would obviously be it will prob get done quicker, they have just about every tool to get it done and it will generally line up perfect.

and by fry getting the cabinets and everything himself he was actually there to pick the cabinets to make sure everything was exact. almost 90% of the time the retail kitchen store you are going to will fuck something up, and you wont find out until everything is there and unloaded, it becomes a huge hassel and adds almost a whole week to the process.

nice job

Kraftmaid Outlet FTW, if you are open to options.
