Good work. Details on the engine?

Good work.

Came out of a 95 State Trooper Car
.30 Over
LT4 Comp Cam
Shorty Edelbrock Headers
Fully Rebuilt bottom end —
Eagle Crank & Rods, Keith Black Pistons
Stock Iron Heads, w/ slightly bigger valves
Cold Air Intake w/ Spectre Conical Filter
MSD Ignition

Rebuilt 9 Bolt Rear End (3.73s) Disc Brakes
Single Inlet, Duel Outlet Flowmaster Muffler

Next on the list is probably a 52mm Throttle Body & then getting some ported Aluminum Heads.

sounds like a fun car, t56?

looks like a fun cruiser

Is that an LG4 305?

I thought 86 was the las year they put those in?

Nope still running the stock 700R4 till it blows or till I get enough cash to rebuild it. Just that w/ a B&M Ratchet Shifter.

Hmm I I dont think so, 3rdGen.org says LG4 V8 in the 87 last year production… regardless that engine was a mess and slow as hell even though that motor & the body only have 57k on it.

nice write up… nice build… one question…

whats fugy?

FIXED: Fugly or Fucking Ugly

lol something me n my friends use to describe something that goes past being just plain ugly.

Somebody on MTV said it best like 10 years ago when the band Staind 1st came out and they were talking about Aaron Lewis being so ugly he was “fugly”.

i was just jerking your chain… nice edit :-p

Nice build, the LT1 will make power to 6 grand vs the TPI that’s done @ 4500.

Can’t believe u actually found parts for the 9 bolt, there is almost no aftermarket for them:)

…around here ive learned ya never know if somebody’s just messing around or not haha. Everytime I read a post I gotta take a second and be like wait… is that guy kidding or does he wanna kill me?

Somebody had re-did the internals before I got a hold of it, Good old craigslist, picked up the whole thing w/ disc brakes, gears, e-brake cables for $400. Its like basically brand new and I got the galvinized aluminum gertle straight from Australlia.

Never knew they made a girdle for that rear. Mine 9 bolt took alot of abuse b/4 it started howling.

Thats good news, I mean im not planning on completly beating the shit out of it but its nice to have something reliable in the back there.

That rear is a little stronger than the 10 bolt. It also has the Ford type axle retainers, tire & axle won’t come out.

Yea I ran it last night down the track for the 1st time, I gotta re-do my front brakes bc they didnt hold @ the line and I jumped, blahhhhh. I guess I need some practice.

Nick dont you think you should give pmp some credit? I mean they did most of the swap…

:roflpicard: good luck

Ha I figured you would be lurking around here somewhere. :eekdance:

Yes PMP did the wiring integration of the harnesses and put the exhaust together.
