No, there will be a million snags and things that I need to do that will just add tons of time, I’m sure.
Had to do some “clearancing” on the new head in non-critical areas, but she’s in!
New primary drive coming tomorrow, so I can get the trans and motor all squared up and shimmed, then I can get the chain done as well.
Turbo will be back from jethot early next week, that and paint will be the last major slowdowns. (hopefully)

Stuck til my belt drive comes (tomorrow), so I made this nut for the top of my triple tree. 304SS, milled, flame tinted, then detail milled. Came out rad. Little shit…

New belt drive is here so hopefully I can get the clutch and primary drive in, maybe even the final drive chain. This will also allow me to get the motor torqued down. Despite not having the turbo I am going to try and weld up the pipes this weekend. I hope I don’t regret this decision. I’m going to make a fixture to hold them so I should be OK. I also plan on getting the internal throttle and headlight installed. I still need to come up with some type of very small battery (just enough to run the fuel pump).
Man that’s a lot of work to re-do/mess with if it’s off a little.
How much space do you have for a battery?
Well, I can cheat the turbo around a little bit so it shouldn’t be a HUGE deal.
Battery space, idk… if I could get something about 1.5 x 1.5 x 2 that’d be good. I have some Li-ion batteries I was thinking of using, but IDK how they respond to constant charging.
