so i checked my turbo today just to see how its doing.
i noticed there was a very thin coating of oil or somthing around my inlet.
i check for shaft play … there is none at all. and my wheel spins fine. there is no scarping or anything and it spins very fluidly.
any thoughts ? or are my seals going ?
Do you still have your crankcase vent hose plumbed into your intake?(thats factory)
Lots of times oil gets into the intake track through the crankcase vents, compressor surge makes this worse cause it moves the suspended oil particles all over the place. Its not that big of a deal, just a little bad on emissions, and doesn’t look cool. I wouldn’t be too worried unless its allot of oil or you are having to add lots.
yeah i do. and i dont have compressor surge at all.
its stock rb20 by the way.
