Oil in turbo intake

So my rb20 swap has oil in the intake pipe connected to the turbo. Other than the fact that the turbo is probably blown, is there any other explanation for why theres oil in there?

is there a breather hose from the intake pipe to the valve cover? if so some oil probably got in there, i don’t think its anything to worry about.

How much oil are you talking about? Pics?

you probably have no catch can… and im assuiming that you have a hose from the t off of the valve cover going into the “intake” hose? if im correct, thats the problem. take out that hose and plug it. install a catch can and put a breather filter on the t from the valve cover.

Id say its about a cup of oil in there. I havent put the engine in the car yet its still sitting on the pallet. I’m thinking that maybe during shipping it did roll over or something and go thru the breather. Do they drain the oil outta these things before sending them out?

Its called blowby, your rings are probably fucked, do a compression test it will tell the truth.

Oh bitch I got jacked bitch.
