Piss Off
Here is todays progress.
I welded up the holes in the bay with 16guage. I had a 4.25" hole cut so my charge pipe could pass thru with the clean look
in these two pics you can see the 2 holes i cut into another piece of 16 gauge. 1 hole is for the 3" charge pipe and other hole is for the 4" air intake
in this pic you can see the 4" pipe sticking down. Ill be tossing on a filter to this. I chose this postion for the filter for a cleaner look, cooler air and the pressurized air from behind the foglight
Is there a rubber gasket or rubber of some sort around the edge on those holes? It might not be a bad idea to add some if theres not just for some added safety that the pipes rubbing up and down the edges wont get worn all the way through.
once it gets back from bodyshop ill be installing door edge molding
yeah i figured you already though about engine movement with the pipes and rubber fittings from the look of how close the metal holte is to the pipe
solid mounted like silverado was. Everything is thought thru before work being done
Figured as much, you seem to have a pretty good handle on things. Never hurts to point it out though, I know people sometimes miss little thigns like that. Gonna be a wicked car though for sure.
i think i asked this same question when i first saw the truck ! i just wish i couldve rode in it when u were running more boost
well you dont live in PGH anymore so thats a hard one to accomplish buddy. I was up miracle mile every weekend it was on road
not sure what color combo to go with
First one
I really like the 1st one.but the white w blu is sick also.
Third one! That white with blue looks great.
cool to match the truck…white with the blue stripe but i like the blue with white abit better
I have always loved white and orange on camaro’s. Thats my vote.
BLUE WITH WHITE STRIPES
that was the original intention
Opposite the truck, Blue with white stripes.
Ive also heard of people getting intercoolers and radiators anodized black. I think summit even sells black anodized aluminum radiators for a stock appearance.
