ne rotary guru's

um im putting a turbo rotary in my rx7 wich was orignly an na car and im running in to some problems so i was wondering if there ne body who knows alot about rotarys that could give me a hand for a couple fo hours or somin

what kind of problems? like getting it wired into your car problems?

yea what kind of problems? thats pretty vague

no offense… but im not into leading the blind with this kind of stuff…(ie doing all the work for you)

i need to know the model of the car, what “turbo” you are putting into the thing… where you did your research on this project etc…

I’m with these guys. To me it doesn’t sound like this is a rotary-specific problem but more of a MyMazda-specific problem.

sry for being so vague, im having a problem with the wiring hanress, so ur right its not so much a rotary problem as much as it is just a general problem with wiring. its a 1987 mazda rx7 was origanly a gxl, and i am now putting in a jdm s4 trubo 2 motor. i have a usdm turbo harness for the car and the ecu. im currewntly putting the new harness in the car but it appears as though several of the connectors are missing, the person i purchased it off of said it was a complete uncut usdm turbo 2 harness. so what i need mostly is some one who know there way around an rx7 to just come and look at it to give me some advice and guidance

Wiring is such a slut. I offer you the best of luck, if it was mechanical, I’d give you some advice.

The only advice I have for wiring is to buy complete uncut harnesses, lol, which apparently you did!

:uhh::uhh: we think we did, thats saying the person we bought it off of is honest lol

which connectors seem to be missing?

get a factory service manual from rx7city.com or anywhere u can find it. make sure its for the 87 i believe they were slightly different from 88 model. then get the manual for the car that your turbo motor came out of and start reading and re pinning.

is this the car that was for sale on here a while ago… the one the previous owner gave up on?

if your referring to hey123 and the silver one, no its still for sale, im trying to get some parts from him and theres no response on it.

There are a few different connectors on the USDM harness because of emissions but other than that they should be very similar. The 87-88 difference shouldnt be too major. Like someone said before, check rx7city.com you can get the FSM for both cars and see what is different.
