Well, if your course is anywhere near as good as the Porsche set up, I might consider participating. The fact that you’re talking about 140kph straights is a good sign that it won’t be like the Solo2 course. Not that there’s anything wrong with their course, it’s just that I prefer less pilons and more wildass driving.
Yes - it should be stated a little less subltely…THIS IS NOT AN AUTOX EVENT!
The whole point behind this is to have higher speeds with faster, more flowing corners. That’s not to say that we won’t have tight/technical sections, but the overall speed of the running will be much quicker than at autox.
How do I gert in on this my engine is hungggry for sum 240’s?

can any car do it? cause right now i have a 1986 toyota wagon with a supra 5m engine. and its rwd. LOL can i bring it out?
-Josh
Yeah! If you wanna run it and it passes tech inspection, you’re more than welcome to bring it out.
This is a no drift track right?
Well, we’re not supposed to be drifting per-se, but if you powerslide around a corner that is OK. So, don’t deliberately drift too much, but if you wanna do a little drifting practice around a corner or two, it’s only your time that will suffer.
what do they look at for the inspection? and also the “document” that you download on the home page is not working for me i download it but when i open it its just blank pages and on the last page theres the map. so can so one e-mail it to me thank. my e-mail is josh_laton@hotmail.com.
-Josh
update your adobe acrobat reader maybe.
Well, the main things the inspection requires are:
- Metal battery tie down; no plastic
- Vehicle not leaking fluids excessively. A drip or two is no big deal, a slow leak is unacceptable
- Wheels/Tires in good shape. This includes alignment problems and wheel bearing trouble.
- Decent brakes
Think of it this way, if you drive your car cautiously on the street because you know there is something wrong with it, don’t bother bringing it.
they also cheak your break peddle and seat belts. Also rubber on the peddles and sometimes they make you take floor matts out. also fuel lines have to be braded if they are longet than 2 feet or some dumb shit.
These just a few that I have expearienced
Think of it this way - if your car is safe on the street, it’s good enough for us.
Jay, any luck with the drivers at your work?
15 spots now filled up… Come on guys, let’s get this event going!!
Sorry guys, i’ve been working so much overtime I completely forgot to talk to them!! I will set a reminder on my phone, I will talk to them tomorrow!!
EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
The insurance company we were going to use goofed and couldn’t grant us a policy due to a stupid technicality. No insurance, NO Namao. In any event, we’re looking forward to the next event on August 27th.
Ah what a bunch of weiners. Gotta love insurance companies  I should be good to go for Aug 27 though
