I expect the call any minute now…
I will bring some seat covers so it will have some racing looking seats. :E
Same here Pyrexx
OK guys, the meeting is at 7 o’clock and the address is 8920 - 100th St. Parkview Towers. See you there!
Car looked very good considering the price. No major rust on the frame just the usual rocker panel rust though.
Except for the golf balls.
But it still looks like it was an awsome deal
But Rob, the golf balls were what made it.
Who needs hoods? All they do is add weight.
“Hey! Are you guys drifters?”
HA HA HA…Are you guys drifters…
Anyway, car made it in one peice and I even managed to grab the hood too from Fullblown. Jeff, if you’re looking for it, I have the blue one.
Man, I took a quick trip around the block here, and nothing resonates off stucco like a ricey exhaust… :E
Glad to see the pick up went smoothly!
Thanks for gettin the hood Kris. This car is gonna be AWESOME! I’ll get to work on the bodykit soon…
What’s with “Hey, are you guys drifters?” ??
We were standing around ,except for Kris. He did all the work. Anyway, we were standing there, and some guy in a green chevy pickup had stopped at the light and looked over at us. Apparently he yelled “Hey! Are you guys drifters?” then someone responded with “This is our project car” so he waved and drove off. That’s my recollection of what happened.
Looks good!
how is the passenger seat!!!??
I have a stock ca18det side mount intercooler that I can donate if your guys want.
I have a wee video from yesterday if someone would like to host it.
Add me on msn, chromedragon79@hotmail.com if you are able to take it.
Niiice!! I don’t know if I’ll be able to give cash to the project, but I would definitely help out in fixing it up!!
Can some one let me know when the body work is going to start. I would like to help out and learn/practice if I can make it up. I’ll get back to you on that transmission too. I assume you still need it
The thing that really struck me about this car is how loaded it was - electric locks and windows, cruise, sunroof, and ABS.
Yeah, the tranny will still be needed, although admittedly I only noticed the second gear grind under hard acceleration.
Mike, the seats are a little rough - if you get it recovered it wouldn’t be too bad because the foam seems to be pretty good.
I’ll let everyone know about the interior parts that are getting stripped, so if you need something, let me know.
Also, I know this is a long shot, but I need a driver’s side window, and a window regulator for electric windows - the car doesn’t currently have one.
Kris, there is a regulator Jaybeck that Scott found for $40. Isnt the window in the trunk?
Whoops, never even looked.
Yeah, the window was in the hatch along with about 500 other miscellaneous parts.
Can someone pick up the regulator and then I can pay them back. Kinda hard to have a winter car with no driver’s window.
