Need a bit of help.

ok so i’v been looking at 240’s but i don’t know what to look for in terms of rust and such. most people selling them have them uninsured. i’m a skeptic and like to have things looked over by someone better than me at this. anyone will to travel around a bit for me? basicaly checking out a car for me, i will come with and may arrange trasportation. i’m in the dufferin and steeles area. beer as a payment may be an option?

take a screw driver… if anything looks weak underneath the car, poke it good, if it breaks its no good…

Just bring a flashlight and check all the (hidden)problem areas. If its mechanically sound, and structuraly worthy, close the deal. Unlike you, I was way to complaisant. I baught my 240 based on pure emotion running for the first car I could find under 2g’s. I biked 90K to Flamborough, the only way I could avert the deal was if the car wouldnt start. Thers a few places here in the GTA that specialize in structural repair should the auto need any.
