im not responding to the warning, when i get the ticket in the mail i will take it to court and fight it… if i lose i lose oh well, i’ll just pay the fine then and stay out of mt lebo and keep my tint, easy as that. but i WILL NOT go down without a fight :slap:

Ok, I live in Mt lebo. The magistrate is a nice guy. I’ve been pulled over for the truck so many times. The cops are fuckin assholes. I’m a dick back to them. They say I need fender flairs, I take some cardboard and spray paint it black. I take a picture. I go to court with a blury picture and the cops never fuck with me agian. I always win in Mt lebo. Fuck the police

well with my tint i have yet to get an actuall ticket, ive been stopped twice and got 2 verbal warnings. I drive in mt lebo everyday, 9/10 times the windows are up… I am unaware of the updated tint law, the last time i check, a few months ago>> there was no specific % that you werent allowed to have. They DO have to meter it, they need to show proof of calibration, they need to show proof that they were trained in the use of the meter. I have the tint laws in my truck at all times, and I have yet to get a ticket…

Evidently you checked the wrong place for your information. These tint regulations with % requirements have been on the books for years…
yeah, its not a tint law. Its the inspection regulatoins. The inspection place do not need to fail your car but the cops can give you a ticket for not meeting the regulations. The tint statute says nothing about a percentage. But in the inspection regulations it says 70 percent. So the cop would have to write you up for not meeting inspection regulations.

um you are a truck and are allowed to have tint on the windows rear of the drivers compartment due to your mirrors being bigger and having at least 19.5 sq inches of reflective surface on them.
I like how Pittspeed has had numerous threads about tint and what you are allowed to have and what you are not allowed to have and now we have some fucking moron bitching that he got a ticket for something illegal. QUIT YOUR FUCKING BITCHING ABOUT TINT, we don’t give a fuck if you get a ticket for doing something you know is illegal. if you are doing 30 in a 35 mph zone and get pulled over, then you can bitch about cops but if you get pulled over for doing something illegal, go fuck yourself it’s your own stupid ass fault. /rant
