YA some asshole cop pulls me over and says that i can either remove the tint within 10 days on my back 3 windows of get a ticket for $105…
if ANYONE knows any way around this please let me know
i Just got the windows done and without the tint the car looks like a damn fishbowl…
friend of mine has a twin of my car, i was thinkin of takeing a pic of his with my license plate on it and delivering this card to the police station
but if anyone has any other idea let me know…

other thing is i wasnt even in mt lebanon when he pulled me over… he has on the warning marked as Washington @ Mcfarland… meanwhile i was in front of the hyandia dealer in Dormont…
he did not use a tint meter, they dont have to use one anymore cuz all cars now have “factory” tint at 70% and you can tell when someone tints them now…
and sailor, he gave me a fact sheet about vehicle sun screening showing i can only have 70% on the back 3 windows theres gotta be a way around this
i’ll grab the inspection book from my shop tomorrow, ( i know theres nothing in it about tint) plus i’ll check out the law book…
think i could just not show the cop i removed the tint, get the ticket, then fight it?
im thinkin of just getting a friend’s exact car and throwing a pittspeed sticker on the back and putting the same stickers i have to the left of my rear window on his and takin a couple pics and print them with the photodock then drop the warning and pictures off at the police station… with a different car that is lol, and just stay away from mt lebanon
trucks and vans as long as they have two outside mirrors with at least 19.5 Sq inches of reflective viewing surface on each side can have anything behind the driver’s compartment tinted as dark as you want.
Passenger cars are allowed to have minnimum of 70% light admitance to all windows, which it already comes from the factory with it especially on all cars built after I think it was 1995 or 1998.
Here is a screen shot of what is now inforced since the house passed a bill and it was changed last summer. What the bill did was fix a loop hole which stated wording in the PA Code. They are NOW ALLOWED TO enforce Table X. I posted about all this in other threads in On Topic reguarding Tint and the new applicable penalties including how they will now track it state wide. Basically first offence is $100, 2nd is $200, 3rd is a 30 Day Plate suspension.
i went threw this exact same thing 2 summers ago, i had 10 days to remove my tint and take my car to the police station…never even thought about taking my tint off or go to the station, nothing ever happened maybe you’ll get lucky…FUCK da POlice
the suburb cops can kiss my ass. its hit or miss with them, you get cool ones and you get dicks. i’ve been pulled probably 15 times with cars that had tint and only one time did they say something but never did anything about it. munhall,mt oliver, mt lebo, brentwood, baldwin…just stay outta them places or don’t give them an extra reason to look ur way. anything darker than 20% is stupid anyway,
if your ride looks out of place then they will nail you. if you got a burben or a Thoe just plain jane with tint chances are you wont get fucked with. if you own a G body, ricer cavi, ricer neon, a blingbling truck then you will get nailed alot more then others will. just man up and pay the fine. youre lucky the officer didnt get you for your headlights, taillights
